OSHA and Safety Training

ECTS recognizes that the time and expense of training has rapidly grown over the years and in today's economy, this poses a hardship on all companies, both large and small.

Many ask what are the advantages to taking OSHA training through ECTS and although the answers are many, here is a brief look at some of them.

Cost Taking an OSHA course online dramatically reduces the costs to companies because the cost of the instructor has been eliminated, cost of the classrooms, cost of man-hours, cost of copying, cost of tracking and documenting  the training, and many more cost saving benefits.
Convenience Companies now will be able to have 1 or 100 hundred take the training solely at the companies discretion.  Employees can take the training at anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All they need is access to the Internet.
Computer or Correspondence ECTS will provide the training in two formats, either online or by correspondence.  We recognize the fact that many employees are apprehensive about using a computer or have no computer knowledge at all.  Therefore, ECTS will deliver the training via correspondence.
Credibility Most companies recognize that having an outside entity conduct the training is a much better method to insure everyone takes the appropriate training requirements, especially in the unfortunate event of an accident.

Certification Each employee will receive a certificate of completion for each training segment completed.  Additionally, the employer will receive copies of these certificates and a running roster of employees who have taken the training.

Comprehension ECTS is taking our training a step beyond any other types of training programs.  We are going to test the comprehension of your employees.  We strongly believe that your employees should "learn" the materials and not be awarded a certificate for "attending" training.  Each of our training will end with a short "test" on the materials covered in the program.  Only those who pass the test will be awarded a certificate, and those who do not will have to retake the training.  As an employer, you should immediately recognize the benefit of "testing" both as an internal or external safety consideration.  If an employee fails a test, what does that tell you about the employee with regards to safety?
Comprehensive Employees will receive more information that in traditional classroom training because of the internet capability.  ECTS will "link" the training to the standards of the regulating agency.  This means that by a "click" of a button, they will be taken to the OSHA website or others that provide supplemental information on the training that they are in.
Communication Employees will have full communications with the course instructor via email or telephone in the event they have questions about the subject matter.
Customization ECTS will customize all training for each individual company.  You tell us what training is needed and we will create the appropriate training segments to meet your specific needs.
Confidential If ECTS creates a "customized" training package for your company, that specific area of our website will be "password" protected.  This insures that only those who you give the password to can access the training segments which were designed for your company.
Creativity ECTS will employ a variety of training tools available only through the use of a computer.  Many of our programs will use embedded "videos" with audio capability, slide presentations, pictures, etc. to enhance the training ambiance.
Credentialed The ECTS instructors all hold various certifications for their area of expertise, in addition to being highly degreed individuals.  Our division chairman has his Masters in Environmental Science from Gannon University.
